He is the initiator of the Perturbationist movement, launched in Nancy in 2021, and of the C.D.R.A.O. (Centre for Documentation, Research and Application of Offensives): a place for creating, developing and promoting “perturbation” and “the offensive” as artistic action.

Perturbationism stands as the first invisual art movement in history. For the artist, perturbation is an artistic language.

Perturbation is defined as an action aimed at disrupting the reality of a public space or the perception of its users. A set of perturbations constitutes an “artistic offensive”.

In 2021, we witnessed the emergence of a new movement in the artistic landscape, at the opposite extreme from today’s prevailing individualistic practices and other standardised codes: Perturbationism.

By making perturbation a way of life and developing it into the artistic offensive, Perturbationists take hold of the real and the present. A new branch of invisual art? A new current within urban art? An extension of contextual art? Undoubtedly, there are many angles, but there is one main objective: to disrupt, here and now, the pre-written lines of our future and the continuity of our reflexes. Rallying around structures, people and issues, Perturbationists will slip into the cracks in our established thinking that our society strives to fill in.

Perturbationism will have to answer a multitude of questions: Is Perturbationism a language? Is Perturbationism a culture? Is Perturbationism an action? Is Perturbationism a result? Is Perturbationism oppositional? Is Perturbationism a humanism? Is Perturbationism an eternal offensive? Is Perturbationism the next established order?
